ah kong's bday party

just in case each time ah kong sees the blinding flash he gets a mini heart attack, ive decided to do away with the use of flashes.
today, flojo n 3 others made an old couple v happy (or that's wat i'd like to think) by making their house very messy.
*laughs.
we volunteered to paint/clean their flat in preparation for CNY.

she's 88.
he's 91.

she kept telling us to 'drink, drink' n we kept telling her to 'eat,eat'.

n when he walks, he always waits for her n holds onto her.

there was a surprisingly large percentage of volunteers from the gay n les community.
at least 50%?
okok, maybe im exaggerating a lil.

it was strange, seeing so many of such around.
till i went home n read up abt space community.

Project Muhibah
What We're Doing
'We will be painting the homes of Chinese, Malay and Indian Singaporeans living in one and two-room flats in the Toa Payoh estate. This will be followed by a reunion dinner, where we invite the Chinese, Malay and Indian families to a halal Chinese dinner. Apart from serving the families, this project gives us a cross-cultural experience and an opportunity to participate in community building.'
it's fantabulous that our community has found a way to give back to society.
